ABOUT ME

 

I was born in Romania and currently I am based in London, United Kingdom. I have always had the curiosity to discover new places and to meet people from all around the world. Therefore, England was the best choice, as I have the opportunity to meet interesting people from different cultural and ethnic backgrounds. 

After studying photography at an undergraduate level at the University of Portsmouth, graduating this year with First Class Honours Degree, I plan advancing on a particular area such as documentary photography and photojournalism by applying for a postgraduate degree at the University of Westminster where I have been accepted and awarded with the Photographic & Digital Media Scholarship.

For as long as I can remember I have known what I wanted to do with my life. Waldorf School had a big influence on my formation as an art lover offering the opportunity to discover some of the great artists of the world and find my passion of photography. Since I first discovered the camera, I knew that I found my niche. Photography has always been a passion of mine, and journalism in particular has interested me for some time. Discovering new stories and capturing candid moments, are very appealing to me. For me, photography has been a fantastic way to grow up faster and get to know myself.
